I grew up in South Africa, and later lived in Israel, the UK, and New York. I paint acrylic works in an expressive realism style, covering themes including Judaica & Jewish themes, as well as contemporary life and scenic works.

Why acrylic?

A question I get asked a lot is, "why acrylic?". Learn more about my unique process that turns only four pigments, white and transparent medium into millions of colors, and why I prefer to paint in acrylic instead of oil.

My Process

Latest works by Reuben Miller

New works include portraits of contemporary Gedolim, scenes from modern Israel, and paintings exploring present-day Jewish life. These pieces join an expanding collection of rabbinic portraits and Jerusalem landscapes. Recent additions feature studies of daily life in Israel's cities and neighborhoods, alongside formal portraits that document today's Jewish leadership. Each work continues an artistic documentation of Jewish continuity through realistic painting. Some works may be sold.
